Strong Enough to Feel

Being vulnerable to yourself is not something to be afraid of, it’s something that makes you feel strong, safe, and makes you motivated every single day. Others may not understand. Some may hate you for being vulnerable.

But, it’s a shield. 
A way to protect you from slipping back into dark. It’s not to harm others. It’s to save yourself. You didn’t become like this by choice, you were hurt. And from that hurt, you chose to rise. You chose to be tough, and toughness will make you find your path rather than being at pain, it gives you a balance, will-power, and a path just for you, to find YOU in it.

So, being vulnerable and tough isn’t contradiction. May be it’s the honest way to live.

Real strength doesn’t come from pretending to be nothing affected you.
It comes from letting you witness and feel everything and still choose to move forward.
It comes from the way you speak softly to yourself now, instead of tearing yourself apart.
It comes from the way you learned to pause, breathe, and not let the past swallow your present.

You’ll see that your vulnerability was never the wound.
It was the healing.

Some memories are meant to be memories so let them miss you!. If something is yours it will find the way back. Until then take your time, your space, start observing yourself, if you don’t love yourself!? then who will!?
